Established by Ashley Bookman, Momentum works with clients to significantly improve their performance, health and profitability. We have consistently seen how an organisation’s culture can be a major inhibitor in the company’s ability to deliver on its business ambitions. Momentum shows companies how to move beyond changing the structures, processes and systems to deliver a step change in the collective attitudes and behaviour of the people that operate within the organisation. 

Our approach has been developed through 25 years + of practical research and an ever deepening understanding into what degree employee psychology plays out in the organisational setting; including game changing insights on how individual and organisational paradigms drive sub-optimal behaviour, and limit the organisation’s ability to evolve and stay competitive.

Ashley works with top teams and individuals showing a new paradigm for large–scale culture change and business transformation.  A negotiation specialist and the originator of Task Orientation® and Systemic Business Improvement™ .

Ashley’s 25 years of experience have seen him collaborate with over 50 companies delivering change on projects such as:

  • Influencing government policy regarding insurance for Acts of Terrorism post 9/11.
  • Assessment to accurately predict the outcome of a £4bn pension reattribution for a UK top tier firm.
  • Recovery of multi million pound commercial negotiations for a global leader in the IT industry.
  • Scottish Fire Service nationalisation – integrating 8 regions with varying terms and conditions into a single national entity.

Ashley is known for his ability to cut through ‘corporate talk’, process and structure obsession by providing fundamental paradigm changes.  Companies benefit from his systemic insight and track record of offering solutions to previously unsolved problems.

Industry Sector Experience

Tom’s experience spans over 15 different industry sectors and includes working with CEOs and board members in corporate multinationals and the public sectors. He is well known for his ability to connect with business professionals at all levels supporting them in achieving their professional potential.

As Director of Programmes Tom manages and delivers our strategic culture change and facilitator programmes. Some of his current projects include:

  • Delivering a Global Sales Training Programme for Etihad Airline Cargo in Abu Dhabi.
  • Developing a team of in-house facilitators at the Maritime Coastguard Agency as change agents to transform organisational culture.
  • Improving negotiation and influencing skills of sales professionals at Legal and General Insurance.

Tom has a BSc (1st Class, Hons) Geography and a MSc (Distinction) Water Resources Technology and Management from Birmingham University.

Ami joined Momentum in 2016 having previously worked at Oil & Gas Servicing company Wood Group.   Her prior business background being in public sector organisations such as Aberdeen City Council and NHS. 

Her professional experience in a variety of industries and roles furthered Ami’s interest in Organisational Development, combined with a background in training design and delivery she has quickly become an integral part of the Momentum team. 

Our clients value Ami’s personable approach and ability to create an adaptable training environment conducive to progress.  She is known for making good connections and managing multiple roles/demands. 

Ami has a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management and Finance from Strathclyde Business School.
